Recently it was National Day of Reflection. Hearing the radio ads from Marie Curie Cancer Care I was prompted to remember my late Mum, or more to the point, her voice.
The ads focus on someone listening to an answerphone message from a relative now deceased.
The old voice memo recorder in the photo is now my only link to the voice of Joyce, my Mum, who died 16 years ago.
